The genuine family picks
Mandalay Bay is my top pick — the beach pool with real sand and a wave pool is the best water complex on the Strip, and Shark Reef Aquarium is on-site. Rooms from $180. Excalibur is the budget family default, dated but $110 midweek with the Fun Dungeon arcade. Circus Circus has the Adventuredome indoor theme park and daily circus acts, rooms from $60 — worth it if you have kids under 10. Four Seasons at Mandalay Bay is the luxury pick with no casino to walk through, $500 up.
Off-Strip and Henderson
Red Rock Casino in Summerlin has a huge pool complex, bowling alley, movie theater and the Kids Quest supervised play area, from $180. Green Valley Ranch in Henderson is similar. JW Marriott Summerlin is casino-adjacent with the best kids pool in the city. Off-Strip generally means more space, quieter halls and no walking through smoky casino floors to get anywhere. Skip Vdara if traveling with kids under 12 — it markets as family-friendly but has no pool slides and no arcade.
Good to know
Which Vegas hotels have real kids clubs?+
Red Rock Casino, Green Valley Ranch and Four Seasons operate supervised kids programs. Most Strip resorts do not.
Are kids allowed on casino floors?+
No. Minors must be with an adult and cannot loiter. Most hotels have separate non-casino entrances to elevators and pools.
