The genuine adults-only options

Vegas is short on strictly adults-only hotels, but the ones that exist take it seriously. The Cromwell on the central Strip is 188 rooms, all 21-plus, with a boutique feel and rates from around $220. Delano Las Vegas (inside Mandalay Bay) is technically adults-only for its tower and runs from $170 midweek. Off-Strip, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has adult-focused vibes though not a hard age policy — the Elia Beach Club there is 21-plus and worth the Uber.

Adults-only pools inside family resorts

If a full adults-only hotel is scarce, the workaround is booking a resort with a 21-plus pool. Bare at Mirage, Moorea at Mandalay Bay and Venus at Caesars Palace all qualify, and topless sunbathing is permitted at Bare and Moorea. Day passes run $30 to $60. For weddings and bachelorette groups, The Cromwell's Drai's rooftop is the highest-energy adults-only pool on the Strip, with cabanas from $500 and covers around $50.
