The chain options that hold up
Residence Inn by Marriott has three properties worth considering: Hughes Center (best for business travelers, walkable to Convention Center), Las Vegas South (closest to airport), and Henderson (quietest, best kitchens). All have full-size fridges, dishwashers, stovetops, and in-suite washer/dryers in the 1-bedroom units. Element Las Vegas Summerlin is the newer-build option with better design and worse breakfast. Homewood Suites Airport is functional and cheap on longer contracts.
Sonesta ES Suites and Staybridge Suites round out the pack — both accept 30-day rate quotes if you email their sales offices directly rather than booking online. Monthly rates typically run 40-50% below the sum of nightly rates, so a $140 nightly room becomes $2,400-2,600 for the month plus taxes, not $4,200.
Casino-hotel monthly programs
Some casino hotels run stealth long-stay programs. Palms had one of the better ones with 1-bedroom Fantasy Tower suites at monthly rates around $3,000 all-in — call the executive host desk rather than the booking line. Rio's older-tower rooms have small kitchenettes and negotiable monthly rates. Circus Circus offers monthly deals below $2,000 but the property is tired.
The genuine question for a monthly stay is whether you want a casino attached at all. If you’re working remotely, the noise, smoke, and rewards-program dependency of casino hotels wears out. Extended-stay chains in Summerlin or Henderson give you grocery stores, restaurants, and quiet at the same price. Furnished rentals through Zeus or Blueground undercut all of the above at 60+ nights.
