9 properties where you can walk from your room to a course or court, with green fees and access rules that actually make sense.

The genuine golf resorts

JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort is paired with TPC Las Vegas, a legitimate championship course that hosted the Shriners in past years — guest green fees run $175-225 versus $250+ for outside play. Wynn Las Vegas has its own Wynn Golf Club, an 18-hole Fazio redesign, right behind the resort with helicopter tour views. Green fees are $750 and include everything including caddie — it's not cheap but it's on-property and impeccable.

For a more affordable play, the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort in Henderson sits between Reflection Bay and SouthShore courses, with reciprocal access. Angel Park is 10 minutes from JW and Red Rock, one of the better public courses in the valley. Up north, Grand Sierra Resort Reno has Lakeridge Golf Course access via package, and the Peppermill has partnerships with Wolf Run and ArrowCreek.

Tennis and pickleball on-site

Nevada's on-site tennis inventory is smaller. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe has 3 hard courts free for guests and clinics in summer. Peppermill Reno has 2 lit courts and 4 pickleball courts as of the 2024 addition. Green Valley Ranch has a tennis complex with 6 courts including clay, unusual in the desert. Ridge Tahoe has 8 courts (mix of tennis and pickleball) and runs adult clinics.

On the Strip proper, tennis has largely disappeared — Bally's tennis courts became a pool expansion, and most Strip hotels never had them. If tennis is a real requirement, base off-Strip in Summerlin or Henderson, or head to Tahoe. Pickleball has spread faster; Red Rock Casino added dedicated courts in 2024 with an app-based reservation system.

Good to know

Can I book tee times before I arrive?+

Yes and you should — TPC Las Vegas, Wynn Golf Club, and Reflection Bay all book up 7-14 days ahead in peak season (October-April).

Are shoes and rentals available on-site?+

All the named courses rent clubs (Callaway or TaylorMade fleet) at $75-150 per set. Wynn and TPC include shoes with rental. Book rentals with the tee time so they’re waiting.
